Operation Dark Storm (Sat. June 5th, 2010 8:00pm)

Fox team, a top-secret highly trained black operations force has gone rogue. They have made it clear that they can no longer stand by while families of black ops agents are lied to about their loved ones sacrifices. Their fellow operators fall for their country and this administration refuses to even award the fallen their due medals. On May 1, 2010 they successfully infiltrated area 54 and acquired 12 experimental nuclear surface to air missiles, 1 portable communications array, and an experimental universal nuclear launch detonator.

They have moved to an abandoned training facility in the northern Utah territory under the cover of a few marine mps they took hostage during their incursion of area 54. Fox teams command has taken up a heavily defendable position along the Layton bench according to predator drone intelligence. No air strike is possible due to the close proximity of civilian housing. They are currently attempting to break the pentagon safety codes in an effort to launch their stolen nuclear missiles at Washington D.C. Fox team has sent communication that their intention is to uproot the current administration by deadly force as retribution for the abandonment of their fallen teammates. As sad and understandable as their grievance is with their superiors, this is hardly the way to effect change in the free country. Our fellow marines have corrupted their values through their grief and they must not be allowed to succeed.

We have been given the heavy burden/privilege of defending this world’s greatest nation against all enemies, foreign and domestic. This will be the saddest mission you will ever have to complete, and succeed you must. Millions of lives will be in our hands the night of June 5, 2010. Are you going to let them die? Or will you die to give them the chance to live?

The 1st battalion 9th marines have been activated for this mission and given orders to recruit the best possible candidates to take down Fox team and prevent the launch of nuclear weapons. They will put their volunteers through their paces and choose 2 four man teams to execute a difficult hostage rescue and counter attack against Fox teams defenses. After which the Walking Dead will lead an assault team to go in and wipe out all opposing forces once the nuclear threat has been neutralized. The 9th will be assigned their own set of nuclear SAM’s as a last ditch counter measure to destroy Fox teams missiles should they successfully gain access to the codes and effectively launch before the Walking Dead can neutralize the threat.

1st Scenario – Recruiting the best of the best

This will be a variation of the game chaos, with a little twist.
Volunteers will be divided into 2 groups, east and west.
The east goal is to reach the western flag. The east can engage the west troops.
The west goal is to reach the eastern flag. The west can engage the east troops.
The non-volunteers will be peppered into the middle of the field and can engage the east or the west troops. However non-volunteers are one on one and can engage themselves too.
Standard engagement and hit rules will apply.
Everybody will have a flashlight for this scenario.
There will be a whistle on each flag. Once there are 4 people at a flag they will blow the whistle once.
Once we hear each flag blow their whistle the scenario will be over and the 8 people will be the special ops force for the 2nd scenario.

2nd Scenario – Infiltration

2 Four man Special Forces teams will be dropped into the combat zone and proceed with their objectives.

Alpha team will sneak their way to Fox teams Base of operations and locate the MP hostages. The hostages will be unarmed and their weapons will be secured in a locker close by. They will be lightly guarded and cannot fight back until Alpha team engages the guards. Once engaged they can run away and hook back up with Alpha team for extraction or they can wait for Alpha team to re arm them and assist in the rescue. Fox team cannot fire upon the prisoners until they are armed. If They try to run away Fox team simply has to run them down and touch them at witch point the MPs will be considered hostages again and must be re rescued. Once the MPs have been successfully rescued they must be safely escorted back to the LZ.

Fox team must guard the hostages and repel any force that tries to rescue the MPs. The guards can request backup once engaged by Alpha team but must have a guy run back to Fox team headquarters and physically call for additional troops to help repel forces. Fox teams patrolling members cannot aid in the fight unless physically asked to help by Fox teams guard members.

Bravo team will sneak in and locate the comms tower and the SAM tower and must shoot all 3 water balloons mounted on the devices to disable them before moving on to capture the detonator. Once the detonator has been acquired, Bravo team may move to their second objective to shoot or capture the 1st and 2nd in command of Fox teams forces. Bravo teams second objective will be to capture both the commanding officers and the detonator.

Fox team will set up a defensive perimeter and patrol their base of operations, SAM site, and Comms tower. Fox teams objective is to successfully defend the SAM and Comm sites for 1 hour while their base of operations hacks the codes to the remote detonator. If they are unsuccessful in defending the Comm tower they must add 15 minutes to their 1-hour for the additional time necessary to hack the codes without the comms tower. If Fox team is unsuccessful in defending the SAM sight they must retreat to their base of operations and escort their commanding officers to their fallback extraction site. If Fox team is forced to with draw from their strong hold they must leave the detonator.

3rd Scenario – (Fox team wins) Ambush

Fox team will assault the marine forces base camp, capture the additional nuclear SAMs and defend the launcher for 10 minutes while they interface with the launcher using their stolen remote detonator in a surprise attack. The detonator must be brought up to the SAM launcher before the 10 minutes can be counted down.

Marine forces will defend against the surprise attack and do what is necessary to prevent their SAMs from being launched by Fox teams forces. Marine forces must try to defend the SAM site at all costs. The last man standing must attempt to disable the SAM tower by shooting all 3 water balloons as a last resort to prevent Fox team from launching the additional missiles. If the Marines succeed in retaking the SAM site they must de-activate the launch detonator to win the scenario.

3rd Scenario – (Marines win) Ambush

Fox team must first ambush the returning marine convoy that is escorting Fox teams captured command members and detonator. They must regain their command and detonator to continue the 3rd scenario. Once they have succeeded in their first goal they must proceed to their secondary target and take control of the Marines SAM site. Then they must bring the detonator to the SAM launcher, start the count down and hold their control of the launcher for 10 minutes. If they succeed the missiles will launch and Fox team wins the 3rd scenario.

The Marine forces must safely escort the prisoners and detonator to their base camp, and then secure the detonator. Them must then defend their position and the SAM site from any opposing forces for 30 minutes once the prisoners and detonator have been returned to base.

4th Scenario – (Fox team wins) Open War

A horrific climatic end. Fox team has done far more damage then they ever could have imagined. After launching the nukes at Washington and successfully wiping out the presidency and military leaders; China and Russia have jumped at the chance to take over the United States once and for all. The Marines having wiped out the remaining Fox team only to return to find the new threat bearing down on the crippled USA. Tired and weary as the Marines may be, this is all out war. Will we fight back the red storm rising from the east? Or is this our final hour?

This scenario will be a force on force war.
Standard hit and engagement rules will apply.
Last side standing wins the war. Good luck to us all.

4th Scenario – (Marines win) Mop up mission

The Marines and its allies have forced Fox team back to their strong hold for a final stand. Marines’ objective here is simple. Wipe out all remaining members of Fox team.

Fox team has failed to launch their stolen weapons and are forced back to their base of operations for their final stand. Their only objective is to survive to fight another day.

Just a quick fyi on this operation guys, The only required equipment you will need to bring will be a red or green safety glow stick, and a gun mounted light. Tracers are of course allowed but not mandatory. If you have any questions feel free to tug on my shirt at one9alliance.com or here on this thread. Thanks.
