Operation Reciprocity MAY 2010
Just putting some feelers out to see how many people would be interested in a game I have in mind. Just let me know what you think. It would likely take place near mendon ut, some time in MAY 2010. If you have questions you can post or call me at 435-764-0451. And yes, I got this from Clear and Present Danger, one of the best movies ever.
Mission Brief
Operation Reciprocity
Participants:
American insertion team (ratio about 1/3)
Members of the Columbian drug cartel, including a drug lord, Ernesto Escobedo
Local civilians
Scenario #1
Americans
Objectives
Achieve three out of the following five objectives:
1) Find and destroy hidden drug cache
2) Blow up transport truck
3) Steal Drug money en route to or from the bank
4) Intercept drugs coming into the United States
5) Assassinate Ernesto Escobedo
Rules of Engagement
Hit and run operation, heavily outnumbered. Equipped with automatic weapons, side arms, and hi explosives (smoke bombs) to eliminate key assets. One fully armed medic who can revive critically wounded team members in 20 seconds. If American Soldier is critically wounded and touched by a member of the drug cartel for twenty seconds, that player is taken captive to the Cartels stronghold, and can only be rescued by a member of his team touching him for ten seconds. Also, try not to hurt civilians.
Columbian Drug Cartel
Objectives
1) Protect cartel assets
2) Continue the drug trade, including smuggling drugs into the US.
Rules of Engagement
When Columbians are critically wounded they return to the Stronghold and immediately re spawn, with unlimited re spawn. If they touch an American for 20 seconds that American is taken captive and must go to the stronghold as a prisoner. Two limb shots count as a critical injury. Cartel Assignments are to be made before game begins, but may be rearranged by Ernesto or other leaders during the game, however the rules about how many can participate in each assignment will remain unchanged.
Every ten minutes one cartel member must transport drugs from the Stronghold to the secret cache. He must travel alone or with one guard.
Every ten minutes one cartel member and up to one companion must transport a briefcase full of money to the bank and back.
Every fifteen minutes two cartel members must smuggle drugs into America.
Cartel members must travel in groups of 2 or less, unless they are at the stronghold or under attack.
Ernesto may only have a side arm.
Scenario #2
Americans
Objectives
1) Stay Alive
Rules of Engagement
Americans have been betrayed. The insertion team is surrounded and outnumbered, and cut off from communication with command. One fully armed medic who can revive critically wounded team members in twenty seconds, but is limited in supplies to reviving up to 10 soldiers. If American Soldier is critically wounded and touched by a member of the drug cartel for twenty seconds, that player is taken captive.
Columbian Drug Cartel
Objectives
1) Kill the Americans.
Rules of Engagement
When Columbians are critically wounded they can be revived by any member of their team touching them for twenty seconds, with unlimited re spawn. If they touch an American at any time that American is taken captive and must go to the stronghold as a prisoner. Two limb shots count as a critical injury.
Scenario #3
Americans
Objectives
1) Rescue captured comrades from stronghold.
2) Pop smoke at the extraction point and survive for 5 minutes.
Rules of Engagement
Any member of the extraction team can revive critically wounded team members in twenty seconds. Unlimited re spawn.
Columbian Drug Cartel
Objectives

Rules of Engagement

Two limb shots count as a critical injury. Not allowed to leave stronghold until Americans are headed for the extraction point.

Re: Operation Reciprocity MAY 2010
Sounds like it would be pretty fun. I haven't played a game where people have the ability to get hit multiple times.
So do you have a field you have access to in Mendon? What might be good is to schedule this game for after Operation Distant Wind. It will give you a chance to play with our group first and get to know us. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

Sounds good. I don't think you'd have any trouble brewing interest in this scenario.

Mayhem, so far everything reminds you of that! It obviously left you scarred internally. Once again, James is a registered Airsoft Counselor (his methods may be harsh).

Re: Operation Reciprocity MAY 2010
Ya, my folks have 15 acres we can play on. If that doesn't work I know some places up the forest service road that people use to paintball sometimes. The nice thing about mendon is we can play all day and never see a single civilian. Im thinking may or maybe june. Ive never played a game this specific either. If it doesnt work we can alway just go back to two teams shooting each other!

Re: Operation Reciprocity MAY 2010
Well If it were me i would try to get like a barn or and old shack. or just something that has a rock wall or something. if ya cant thats fine. I just thought that that would be reasonable for such a well thought out game...

Re: Operation Reciprocity MAY 2010
This sounds great! Im DEFINITELY in. I would want to be American though. Also i think that if you do it in May, that would work best. It seems like alot is going on for people, such as scout camp, and vacations etc... in june, i say we do it at the very end of may, at lest a month after Operation Distant Wind 2. Sounds great jordan!
Re: Operation Reciprocity MAY 2010
I can see what I can find as far as old barns and stuff. The best games I ever played was when they were building the new school in Mendon. No doors or windows, three story scaffolding, half built cinder block walls, dozens of classrooms, crates, pallets, forklifts, piles of rubble, trenches...... Ah, an airsofters paradise!!
Ps. Americans must wear full standard woodland camo, and drug dealers must wear little to no camo, so as to be distinguishable and easy to spot. Also a volunteer to play Ernesto in the first round would be nice, and you have to dress like a drug lord, but just for the first round. then you can join another team.
