ya, i do have a full ghillie. It works great in the right environment, but it sticks out pretty badly in others. It doesn't have enough green. In desert areas it works great, or really early spring when the snow is mostly gone but no green grass has come in yet, and everything is dead. Im going to try to add some more green to it, but that wont help for this sat. Im trying to figure out how to add some white. We'll see how it goes. I can show you how i do it, so if you ever want to you can make your own. Its actually not to hard if you know how to do it. I learned by trial and error, mostly error, so it was a little ruff. Still working on it actually. Thats why im not completely satisfied with the colors.

In really early spring, I laid down on the ground on my parents hill, and Jesse walked right past me and I shot him in the butt. It was awesome.

This worries me. If it's someone else property and no permission has been asked besides what epicdiehard's friend may have gotten in the past playing there could very well constitute trespassing. Our sport needs to stay within the bounds of the law as much as possible. There is public land up Dry Canyon outside of Smithfield that we use frequently, I'd like to offer that as an alternative to playing in someone else's backyard.

I absolutely agree. We don't have any problems like a lot of paintballers because we go to the trouble of not doing like trespassing. Not trying to put a damper on things, we just need to make sure we remain community friendly.

Im all for That too, if that OK with Jordan, of coarse. I mean the spot we are going to is a GREAT spot but i have been thinking and it might be a good or even great idea to take into consideration what Reid and Panzerfaust said... It will still be a GREAT time either way though.

I wouldn't mind heading up Dry. There are a couple of open areas that I have always wanted to play in the snow there. It would be fun to do a quick build of a course in the snow. Though it isn't going to be nice building snow at 29 degrees. Anyone totaled the attendance? Just curious. Often if you are able to show that quite a few are coming we can get some more loafers. I'm a definite go now. Ill PM my address later topjob.

Im fine with going to smithfield. I just didnt know of any other good alternatives. Christian, who got permission for the pit? If They could get it in writing, we might could still do it there. Otherwise I can bring a bunch of pallets to build a course up dry canyon. Good thing Im going with Donknottz so he can show me the way. I dont really know where Im going. Should we have a meeting place, and do you get cell reception up there for stragglers?

If we can obtain written consent would you guys be willing to still go to the pit? I dont know how likely that is, thats Christians thing. If we cant Im fine to go someware else. I am just more familiar with the pit and know we'll have fun. Christain, do you think you can get it? A simple hand written note would suffice.

My vote is that you don't bring pallets. We can do well enough without them.

If you want to build a course may I suggest one that is on your own private land. Lets keep public land as clean as possible.

I intended to pick them up and take them back to my house when we were finished, but I'm good either way. Easier to not bring them. So I guess I don't know what you are thinking. Should we bring shovels or what?

Yeah, not that it is a group policy but we tend not to bring items and build courses. It is what got us kicked off of another field because paintball groups had been doing that. They even went so far as to cut down trees. Very much a no no in my book and others. If you can get written permission that is great and we can as easily call those attending. I've always gotten good reception up the canyon.

Good to know. I'm still very new to the forum and learning the way you guys work. Makes me glad my folks have 15 acres and we can build/do pretty much what ever we want out there. In fact, if we build some defenses, Mendon might not be a bad way to go. I completely agree, starting to early in the winter is not so much fun. I was actually thinking 10:00. As for a place to meet, I want to see if I can work something out for the pit first, otherwise Lee's sounds great.

I would like to try Dry canyon or Mendon, but im not the one scheduling. I have absolutly NO IDEA who owns that pit so i don't know where to find out. My friend, i think, knows the guy, but i really am not sure if he ACTUALLY knows the guy or he just said he does. We also might want to decide ASAP so people can plan.

Alright lets do Dry Canyon this time around, while we figure out the Gravel Pit for a later date.

Lets meet at "Lee's" (north end or the parking lot) there in Smithfield @ 0930 or so and start shooting at 1000.

That's fine with me, Lees is a nice easy spot to be there, ILL BE THERE! The gravel pit will be kind of hard to work out for this weekend, What do you think Jordan?

I talked with Jimmy earlier today and hopefully he will pipe in and say he is attending. Perhaps he is waiting until he can confirm a friend.

Here are the people who have said on the forum that they will be coming. That puts us at 5 maybe 6 guys. If everyone is 100% sure coming then we can get in some decent games. If anyone flakes out and doesn't show I will be a bit disappointed. I'm a definite attendee so long as we don't have less than 5 guys coming.

well i might be able to bring a few friends along with me and my little bro. is coming as well. Also, Topjob's brothers might attend as well. And my Dad Might come, idk yet. we should have enough.
