It really doesn't get more gangster than that.
Re: Operation Distant Wind-4/11/09
Okay, it took me longer than expected (I kept forgetting ^_^v) but I texted or talked with everyone I think would be able to come. At this point it seems likely that I'll at least have one other person coming, with a possible amount of 6 people (not including me) coming. I will for sure be coming also, although I think it's supposed to rain saturday, do you guys still go while in the rain? Or would you end up canceling the game?

So i just found out that my little bro justin, his girly, and maybe both of my other little bros will be going. Depending on how today goes i might come as well, as some of my plans have changed. but definately justin and his girly will be at lees and they will need directions to the field. i prolly wont know if im going till late tonight.

Rain doesn't stop airsoft , just remember to air out your kit afterward so it can dry off. I miss playing in the rain actually. Tomorrow's gonna be a good day.

Re: Operation Distant Wind-4/11/09
If the rain is anything like it has been the last two days it shouldn't be a problem at all. Tomorrow is going to be fantastic. I think the main thing we need to remember is to have plenty of eye protection for those who are coming. If Andrew starts laying cover fire with his behemoth from across the field we don't want to loose any Canadian eyes. Perhaps we should make it more realistic and the Russians only get bolt action rifles . . . for every other person.
Re: Operation Distant Wind-4/11/09
They would also need to ingest weevil laden biscuits and rancid beef strips just prior to battle.
I know, since they are conscripts they rebel and depose Andrew by drowning and beheading (just to be sure).

Just a thought, but, how many vehicles will fit without crowding the playing area? Any limits?

Holy cow poop, that was fun! My hat's off to the Canadian, and American commanders. They led their men valiantly and fought with honor!!
A count of the Russian Medals for the campaign:
Myself: 17
Scott Biery: 13 + 1 potato
Mason Biery: 9
Mason's friend: 11
Derebu: 13
Comrade #6: 12
A special thanks to the Spetsnaz operatives who were able to brave the horrific canadian ape odor, and secure the base eventually helping to avoid catastrophe for Mother Russia! Overall, this was a glorious day!! Thanks Reid for putting it together!
There were a few new players who weren't used to the game. We did have some incidents with close engagements, and trouble calling hits but everyone kept their cool, and the players in question were handled very well.

A very good day comrades, a good day for Mother Russia!
It was great to see some new faces and some old ones returning to trade some plastic. My hat is also off to you all for a fun day.
Even if you were a capitalist pig or smelly Canuk.
It was a very tasty potato.
+1 potato for Reid for the planning and execution.
Dasvidaniya comrades.

It was good to be back! I look forward to a great summer. Thanks Reid for some fun games today. We should look into planning a game sometime in the future where we only allow low-cap mags to make it more real, just an idea. I think I burned through about 1000 today, fun stuff!
