We Have Glorious News Brothers!

The time has come to take back another relic to our gods the Chromed ones. it has been many years since we have been allowed to stay with our benevolent gods, but once again our scouts have found a temple of the Chromed ones located near a town called Mantua. this Temple is said to hold the many wonders of the Chromed ones, key to bringing them back from the prison the Heathen have put them in. we must move swiftly as the infidel Connor, is moving his forces in as we speak, for they will seek to destroy these Chromed relics. take courage we may be poorly armed, but we will find many of the weapons used by the Chromed ones to beat the heathen back, and we must take them before greedy hands take them.

we have stolen this map from the infidel

Tac-com Lead by John Connor have Deployed to the area to Respond to rumors of an old Skynet Base in the Area. since the fall of skynet, Tac-com as been working to ridding the world of all traces of Skynet's systems so that it can not come back on-line.

The Brotherhood has come because of the same rumor, but the Prophet, the leader of the Brotherhood, believes that the technology left by Skynet can be harnessed by his people who view Skynet as a sleeping god. They hope to be able to awaken this sleeping god to defeat their enemies.

Rules of Engagement

Respawn Rules: If shot, you can either immediately dead man walk to Medic Station or Faction HQ, or stay in place and call for a Combat Medic. If you are bandaged by a Combat Medic, bandage will be applied, then you can either proceed to medic station to remove bandage on your own, or proceed with fighting as a wounded soldier. If shot as a wounded soldier, you must dead man walk to Faction HQ to respawn.

Ammo Restictions: You can only cary a limited amount of mags based on how much they hold. Before you reload you must report to your commander.

type | amount you can carry
winding
+500rnds | 1
+300rnds | 1
+200rnds | 2

non-winding:
+90rnds | 3
<90rnds | 6

Resource control: There will be three weapon caches with limited weapon coins which will be occasionally refilled. You can only start out with a semi-auto pistol or shotgun unless you buy a weapon:

Automatic pistol = 1 coin
AEG = 2 coins
AEG using box mag = 3 coins
Sniper = 4 coins

Team Obliteration War: the goal of this mission is to blow the blast doors on the Skynet base.

Side Objectives:

Research Station ---5 minute hold
Reprogram Terminators ---5 min engineer hold
Medic Station Captures ---return to HQ
Commander Assassinations --- return to HQ with your spotter
Resource deliveries --- get ammo box to from A-B
HVP escort --- escort HPV from A-B alive

Objectives:

Territories: there will be 5 flags at 5 points. to take the point flip the flag to your color.

Research station: this point has to be held for 5 min to obtain a CAOS chip. after a terminator overcomes the CAOS protocol he returns to the the station and clears it.

Reporgramming Terminators: if you disable a terminator, and can get a CAOS chip to him in 2 min you may begin reprogramming him this takes 5 min. then he will obey simple commands untill he is dissabled
.
Medic Station captures: to capture a medic station, you must pick up both cones and return them to HQ and your commander will change the tape color on the cones.

Commander assassinations: kill the commander and report back to HQ. This requires at least 1 person to verify your kill. (aka a spotter)

Resource deliveries: when the location of a box of ammo is provided by your commander, you must go and get the can and take it to the specified point on the map.

High Value Person: the location of an HPV will be provided to you by your commander and you must secure him and take him to your HQ. if the HVP Dies you must report this back to your commander.

Final Battle: Now that the location of the new skynet base is known the brotherhood, is trying to capture the base. but Tac-com wants to destroy the central computer. Whoever gained the most points at the end of WAR, will be able to use all their gear and will have no ammo restrictions.

Special Classes (Per Team):
1 Commander
2 Chief Surgeons
8 Combat Medics
4 Engineers

Chief Surgeons: Keepers of Medic Stations. medic stations are completely movable. Surgeon must stay with the Medic Sation. To respawn a wounded soldier tie bandage on, then take off. If killed respawn to Faction HQ for 5 minutes.

Combat Medics: Can work at Triage or in the field. If in the field can only apply bandage. If at Medic Stations play the same role as Surgeons.

Engineers: the Role of the engineers is to "program" the CAOS Chips (Computer Assisted Over-ride System), which takes 5 min, and then install them on the disabled termniator, also 5min. Engineers are also the only ones that can carry the Ammo box for Resource Deliveries.

Meet at Big 5 parking lot at 7:45, leave for field at 8:00. That should give us plenty of time to get registered.

Cool. we'll definitely need them. You can see that the caches are spread out. I'm thinking we'll need to be set up as fire teams for this to work.

So, will there be "coins" at all of the five "flags" or whatever they are? I am a little concerned about not being able to use my AEG. I make no secret of the fact that I don't care for using my pistol much. I never even bring it. Ghost lost his and uses mine. I think my plan is to start with NO gun at all and sprint for the closest ammo box or whatever the heck they are. Also, it was never clarified WHO you are supposed to buy your AEG from. I am assuming your team commander. Is he going to be on our team, or an NUAC guy that is more like a judge/ref than a commander, and therefore of little to no real help to us? Don't get me wrong, I am really looking forwards to this game, I just hope there aren't too many bugs in it.

I'm guessing we must find and activate the holy Skynet technology in order to use our AEGs. Makes me wonder if Tac-Com will have a similar handicap. If not, it will be kind of a "downed fighter pilot" scenario, which could be cool.

I'm waiting on the actual rule set for the scenario but it looks like the AEGs will be staged at each teams HQ (shown on map). There will be tokens of some type on the field to find. Once you have a token you just turn it in for your AEG. This part of the game was a blast last year since, to kill a terminator, you had to hit a metal plate on their back. Unless someone else steps up for the slot I will be acting as the commander. For now it is so that Joe has a set contact with CVA. If anyone else wants the slot just holler. I'll have both my shottie and pistol as well. If we need to farm some out I certainly can do so.
We'll game this out a bit this saturday and let everyone see what they will be up against.

My biggest concern is functionality. Keeping all the roles for medics, surgeons, etc. straight. I'm covering them with the folks tomorrow so I'll drop a line on the feedback tomorrow afternoon/evening

I need everyone to chime in for the specialty slots. We already have a dedicated sniper team. I need a couple people who are willing to form the HQ group as well.
Mayhem, how many people will be on your team for this one? Will it be enough for a complete fireteam?
