Ammo usage

So now that we've gotten a few games in under our belts together, I was curious to see what the differences are in peoples trigger fingers and fire control.
I'll use 300 bb's at a max per round. Sometimes I'll finish without having fired more than 50. Yet I feel the need to carry 3x 400 round hicaps, a 300 round hicap, 2 mids (100 rounds), and a single stack standard mag (79 rounds for M16) even though in all likelyhood I'll never get through a second hicap. That's all beside the point though...

So how many rounds per scenario are you going through on average?

The most I've used in a single scenario was about 450. I average under 300 (1 hicap).

I use to barely go through 3 low caps (30 rounds each) in an entire day. But as more and more people have gotten better gear that shoot at faster rates, and as they just lay down a wall of bb's on my position, I have had to change my usage. Lately I have probably gone through about 300 a day. My hope is that as I get my new scope I can work my way back to a more accurate shooting practice. Plus I am going to start using .25 Bio BBs instead of the cheap .2 walmart specials I have been whittling through.

umm, yall know me. I like the bb wall, I always have. I've gone through more than 1500 bbs in a day on more than one occassion. there have been games where I've gone through two hicaps

of course, I just upgraded so I should be significantly more accurate and able to reach out more effectively. also, knowing a little more about my sighting optics, I'll be better able to take advantage of it. So, hopefully, my bb usage should drop significantly

i usually go through between 1 and 2 hicaps in a day, although, i also usually am the first to leave.

So I went through a lot less this last game. I think I came through the entire day using about 700 bbs. This is a huge breakthrough for me. Of course, the one shot kills are always fun and go a long way toward decreasing bb usage. On the other hand....surrendering someone would be even better. Reid got me at least twice without firing a shot.
