RAID mod to german flecktarn shirt
I think the only thing missing from the german uniform is the fancy arm pockets that american uniforms are all sporting these days. This last week I decided to finally take that issue into my own hands and move the chest pockets around. I did the de-stitching earlier and finished sewing this afternoon. I'm pretty darn pleased with how it turned out.
You may say, " Oh no! Now the chest has no pockets!", but those pockets weren't really accessible anyhow while wearing a plate carrier. The little german flags are now on velcro backing as the pockets cover where they used to be. I also have the little pocket that's normally on the left shoulder as a leftover. I'm not sure what to do with that.

haha thanks. Yarr, Lindsey found the box of parts. I was home all day, I probably didn't hear the door over the whirring of the mechanical stitcher-upper.
I probably have enough flecktarn material to do you up a skimpy prom dress

I prefer 'tactical tailor' to homemaker. Sort of Dick Marcinko meets Martha Stewart?

Nice! I am sincerely jealous of your toys. I'd like to be able to work cordura one day.

I have not used my sewing machine for about 4 years , last time i used it was to make some snowboarding pants everything was quad stitched so everything was watertight, had no problems going thru 4-8 layers of cordura

I think we need to revisit the Logan's War scenario. Who's with me?
For those of you who don't know. The Logan's War scenario is where Logan aka Dr.Funk talks a lot of sheit and makes promises that he can't keep and then gets owned on the field for having a big mouth.
