Low Cost Classic Army M15's
Low Cost Classic Army M15's
Panzerfaust
In response to the affordable AEG threat from ECHO1
Classic Army has equiped a quality AEG line with plastic receivers, they'll shoot 315fps out of the box and cost $79.99msrp. It's an excellent new developement for the new players in need of a solid platform for not a whole lot of scratch.
They're slated for release late this month, as announced on checksix:

I'm looking forward to Warthers Originals or OregonAirsoftSupply to have them/be able to get them.
When he can get them, I'll get one to review, and depending on how I feel about it . . . . pass on to McNasty

The more I think about this series, the more I think about getting an M4, and replacing the plastic body with a Metal M16A1 body from Warthers.

That is what my roommate has and it's crap. It could just be his or it could also just be the battery. His gun doesn't last more than a game and a half.

I like the thought. Only concern is that I can't find anything anywhere that leads me to think that CA quality is better across the board. How do ya think this will compare to JG/Echo 1?

From the feedback I've read they're really nothing great. I'd go echo1 anyday over one of these sadly. On the plus side, they are building a sportline P90. Swap out a few internals and it wouldn't be that bad.
A full review of the CA sportsline M15A4 is availible HERE. Again, we have guru Bill youngblood to thank for the write up.

I think I saw a post on one of the forums that had these pegged at the $90 dollar mark. Have you seen that? Sounds like minor upgrades would give a decent, cost effective option for people on a budget.

$119 is the lowest I've found. I'd like to ask around and figure out exactly what goes wrong with them, it probably wouldn't take a whole lot to get them humming up to skirmishable standards.
