Crazypunkface, I have added you to the Bravo team for the event.
Re: Here a coup, there a coup, everywhere a coup coup - July 25th - Mantua
Mission Update: Out of fear from the increased pressure from other countries. The Honduran military has distributed AA guns throughout the country. Also, enlistment into the service has increased and become mandatory for all able bodied young men. New details have been place in the team sections.

James, talked to Ron this afternoon and verified Alpha for him. He should be on later to check out the rules.
Speaking of which, I'll bring a few copies of ROE for Charlie if you want to bring some for Alpha and Bravo.

Greetings all, Sorry I haven't been more active, but I've been rather busy the last couple of months. I am also planning on coming, plus one guest (my wife).

Ok, I went through and every player (registered to our forum) has been assigned to their appropriate team. You gotta look at the list and make sure you understand which team you are on and if there is anything missing to let me know. Right now the teams are pretty much balanced the way they need to be. If Bravo had maybe 2 more players that would be just about right. Then again there are always the no shows. I'll post some meet up times soon so that people can rally at the Big 5 (Logan) if they are coming from the North and the Walmart (Brigham) from the South.
Please look at your team details. Try to assemble your uniform for the day and most importantly make sure you understand the rules for your team. I will be going over them at the event, but the less I have to repeat the sooner we play.

Re: Here a coup, there a coup, everywhere a coup coup - July 25th - Mantua
Even with Charlie team being heavily out numbered I think they are going to be doing really well. This mainly comes from the fact that they are using the team sections and discussing strategies and asking questions about their role in the scenario. 53 posts versus a combined 7. Yeah, one team is definitely more prepared than the rest I would say. I'll be posting a mission map for each of the teams that will help give you a bit more information to plan with.

Pvt. Ryan, since you requested it first I'm going to move you to Alpha. As for your uniform, see what you can do to distinguish yourself so you aren't just in woodland. If that is all you have we can sort something out for the event and it won't be a problem.
Jim you will also be on Alpha and your guest or 2 will both be Bravo.

Mayhem, Aftermath can take Funkytownmans spot on Charlie. Your other buddy should come ready to fight for Honduras (Bravo)

Re: Here a coup, there a coup, everywhere a coup coup - July 25th - Mantua
Got ya down Wildshadow. 345th will be supporting the Bravo team. You have been added to the team section. Jim, your guest has been moved to Alpha team.
Wild brings up a really good point. Everyone needs to bring lots of water. Also you should probably bring a lunch or at least a snack. We are going to take a mandatory break. This will give everyone a chance to cool off in the shade and help us avoid any problems. Everyone should be familiar with the the signs of heat exhaustion and stroke.
Directions to the field for those coming from the south have been put in the team sections. I don't think anyone from the North hasn't been to the field before or is coming with someone who has.

Re: Here a coup, there a coup, everywhere a coup coup - July 25th - Mantua
Field Reporters - Players who take on the role of field reporters have an interesting position. They will move about the field highly visible (orange jackets or something similar). These reporters are there to gather photos and video of the struggling going on in the region. Note this doesn't mean that they are out of play. Bravo doesn't want to be documented in any way because it looks bad for the coup. As for Alpha any publicity can help their justification for being there, but they don't want their faces shown. I won't tell you what sorts of things that Charlie might do. Let's just say that Reid is a dirty old man and Scott is still in training to become such. All teams however would never point their weapons at any of the reporters equipment or even have reason to shoot them, that says nothing for capturing though.
So for our man Funkytown man and I believe there is another who would like to do some photo taking. This is your role for the first phase. They do have the option to be armed with a pistol for self defense, but they can only use it if they take off their blazing orange jackets and join a team they sympathize with.

Absolutely. Post your uniform type if you have them so James can work on balancing teams.
Meet the rest of the folks from down south at the Brigham City Wal-mart at 8AM. Take exit 366 East to first light, on the south side of road.
See ya there
