rocket launcher rules
im building one of these

and need to know our rules on the whole nerf launcher thing.
on other airsoft sites they have a ten foot kill radius where ever the missile lands.

Good question, I'll have to give it a think and talk with our team captains. We'll get back to you on that one.

So it's basically the same as me shooting a 'Nerf Vortex' ball out of my M203. That is awesome!

Yeah, the main concern is how you are controlling the speed of your projectiles. So there will need to be a few tests performed in front of myself, Andrew, or Reid before you can use it in a game. Sound good? As for the area of effect, that can be left up to everyone in our group. I think a 10-15 foot diameter from the point of impact. The difficulty would be of course keeping track of that in a game.
So perhaps if you have it setup like a mobile mortar then it is a lot easier to determine. I actually played in a game like that and we were trying to take out the mortar. Every minute or so we heard "incoming" and would take cover. It was a lot of fun and added just a bit more to the game.
