Teams
As more people are getting on the forum and joining us for events I am glad to see that CVA is growing. I just though it was interesting to note how the teams have been growing. Obviously Phoenix Initiative has a uniform that is a lot easier to obtain so naturally a lot of first time players are going to join up with us. Will Bravo Three Seven be able to keep up with the growth or possibly convert the new comers to join their ranks? Probably pretty hard to pursuade them by words since there are about 4 PI to every 1 B37 on the forum. Guess they'll just have to sweep up on the field. Then again, we have seen B37 grow a lot since we first started and many of them have some very nice gear and are quickly becoming difficult opponents to play with. Perhaps some of the guys that are coming to the next few events will end up on B37.
Guess we'll find out. What I do think will be fun to see is if by out numbering B37, can PI make up for their loss at the last event. According to the records I have started to keep and post on our website. B37 is up one game of Capture the Flag to Phoenix. We have pretty even numbers for that day, though a couple of PI members were playing with us for the first time. Bravo did pull off some good team work though. Like I said, it will be interesting to see how things develop.

Re: Teams
Maybe if we grow enough, we should make a 3rd team? interesting? am i just typing to hear the sound of my keyboard? maybe...
but i would like to see more of b37 on the forum so that everyone that plays knows the gameplay rules for our scenarios DAYS before the game starts, so people can ask what individual rules mean if they have any questions, cuz the last scenario we played woulda been WAY better if people knew what was going on in advance because they had seen the ROE BEFORE they got to the feild.

Re: Teams
Right now it feels to me like Phoenix is the player pool where everyone but B37 ends up. I would like us to stick to the standardized uniform we picked for our guys (i'm absolutely no exception here with all the flecktarn wear), and anyone who shows up in woodland or non designated uniform can be split between the two teams to compensate for numbers.

Re: Teams
I would like to see more of B37 on the forums as well. I agree that the ability to ponder the rules for upcoming events will become more critical as the CVA pool deepens. Having said that, allow me to say...PI Die on Saturday!! Long live B37!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Teams
I think we'll have a good opportunity to play a lot of straight, team vs team games Saturday. We'll see who dominates. I know most of B37 carries around pistols and I hope that no one isn't able to come from either team just because of the restrictions. Wouldn't want any excuses as to why we beat you guys so badly.
Re: Teams
At this time only 4 are scheduled. My pistol is down due to tappet plate. Devin is bring a guest so I guess that puts us up to 5. I'll have a guest as well so we should be around 6-7 for sure. Even if there were only one it would be overkill. I shall smite thee about the head and shoulders!

Re: Teams
I'll leave our team captains to give a brief description of the different teams we have. What I do want to find out is, what shall the newest team to our group be called. I do this to pull you into our organization so that we have more and more people showing up to have a good time. For now, I will designate it as the Wolf team. What also need to be figured out, over time mind you, is how to distinguish between teams. So start thinking about these issues and soon we'll have a nice Triforce of teams.
