other than that single incident though, it was a great day and there were no other problems. the main thing you have to keep in mind about boe, they love realism and try to get as much of it as they can. i've heard they even insist that no mags be in gun at the fob or else you do pushups! i saw none of this though since nobody had to do pushups and i doubt they'd try and push that one.

not sure yet. i'll keep you posted.
but ya, if you're looking for some hardcore realism, they're where ya find it. to the rest of us, it's too far and turns people off alot.

Sorry, I stand by my original assessment. The fact that it took place with someone not on their team is indicative of the rest of the attitude. I have no desire to trade BBs with anyone like that.

I would have butt stoked the BOE guy. There is some realism that I'll bet they are not used to.
Nothing like the butt of an M16 to the forehead to say ef-off.

Re: Playing with BOE
i checked my pm's this morning, he wrote back apologizing for his behavior stating he shouldn't have even said anything. i doubt it will change any opinions, and this whole thing has added a little flavor to mine. i understand WHY such a subject would make him so mad, no gunbag at the wrong time could ruin the sport for us all. but it should've been handled better and i'm happy he sees that too. if he didn't he wouldn't have apologized.reidc wrote: The fact that it took place with someone not on their team is indicative of the rest of the attitude.

Re: Playing with BOE
It sounds like a sincere apology. So as far as discussing that incident I don't think anything else should be directed towards those involved.
As far as seeing people from another group acting in an unsafe manner: I, as a well established player and Officer of CVA would approach the individuals only if it required immediate action. If it could wait the 20 seconds it takes for me to find one of their leaders I would approach them to handle the situation. If their leader isn't there, then I would approach them. That's the nice thing about group, basically ever one has some sort of structure that allows for information to come from the top down. It usually gets handled better that way.
If you are ever approached by someone from another group what should you do?
If they have pointed out something that you are doing which is dumb in a friendly way, accept it and thank them for the reminder. If you are doing something that you know is permitted by CVA and that one of our Officers would approve of then you can direct their attentions to one of us. If they harass you then you should walk away and find an officer. Don't argue with them. Let us do the arguing for you. I deal with handling situations like this all day long and have training in dealing with confrontations.
