hey just looking into these guns and had a question

Out of both of these models, which one would be the better choice?

Depends on role. The bottom one is longer and is naturally optimizable for sniping. The top one is shorter and easier to maneuver. To compare, the Socom version has a 330mm inner barrel. Standard M4 inner barrel is 363mm. The longer M14 you picked will take an inner barrel up to 520mm long.
