hello everyone

Im new to this website, although not new to airsoft. My two brothers and I have been playing for about the past 3 years. We all have pretty decent guns, and are really looking forward to playing with you all. I am 25 years old and have a wife and little girl. I live in logan. How many people do you guys have show up regularly to events in cache valley? This summer I am thinking of hosting a game, broken into several different scenarios.

Welcome to CVA. There will be a few games prior to the end of the snow. Right now the largest one planned is Operation Distant Wind 2. It will happen on 4/24/10 in Mantua. From now till then it is more catch as catch can. Looking forward to seeing you on the field.

When it is a themed game like i think the one in mantua is, russians and americans and canadians, what are the rules on uniforms/guns. i really only have the one gun, besides my side arm which i never use, and I only have standard and desert camo uniforms. One of the things Ive read about is how much more fun you have when you role play, and Im looking forward to it, but I also dont want to sped a lot of money. Thanks for the welcome!

HEY JORDAN! (This is Christian A.) Glad you could find the CVA and register! You have a good point when you said rules and uniforms for guns as well. I mean, im going to be on the Russian team and i have an M4, lol. Its great that you signed up, man.

Likely we'll be doing colored armbands to differentiate between the teams.

Will definitely be armbands (colored duct tape) for teams. How far you get into the role play is up to you. I have two types of camo and 1 AEG. I also have a shotgun and an AEP. I don't recall having any trouble enjoying myself.

Duct tape! Oh sure everyone praises Andrew for his sewing but quickly forgets the custom made armbands James makes for the entire group. Maybe if I had put a pocket on the armband people would use them a bit more. Perhaps your initials along the inside fold.

James, I promise that the armband you made is among my most treasured possessions, but, Can't use a two color armband to differentiate among 3 teams. I will wear mine to vegas today in your honor.

That sounds fine. Im glad I dont have to go out and buy a russian outfit and an AK-47. Although I do have a russian looking hat that I'll prob wear. Just little things can make a difference.

Hell yes, get into the role. For the first one I had a portable boomcube blasting Red Russian Army Choir on a loop, and we sported some thick ruskie accents! Sadly vodka wasn't allowed at the event though.
