What kind of setup are you running? Knowing what gun, model, brand, battery, and any upgrades will help to determine where to start with recommending upgrades.

Aren't you running a stock JG? If you are it came with either a Ver 2 or 3 box and stock internals and motor and also came with an 8.4v 1100MaH battery. Is this correct?

Is a higher voltage battery bad for your gun? my gun cam with a 8.4v battery. Would it be bad for my gun if I used a 9.6v?

No, a 9.6 wouldn't be bad for your gun as it is now.

Upping to a higher voltage, higher capacity battery and better guage wiring will yield a higher rate of fire. Anything else really depends how far you're willing to take it. Are you satisfied with 800-1000 rounds for minute, or do you want to extend a dynamic white plastic stick before you when you pull the trigger?

It'll charge a 9.6, just make sure you charge the new battery for the correct amount of time. A new charger would be a good next upgrade for you, before you start frying batteries on that thing.

oh watch this:
