accuracy help?

accuracy help?
I would like to first thank Andrew for fixing my hop-up two weekends ago, now my gun is out shooting most the Hyrum guys guns
But now at far ranges my accuracy is really bad
Any fixes for this?
Some gun info:
363mm, 6.03 tight bore barrel of the mad bull brand.
The hop-up is working but it’s really random, it shoots some short and some fly up even when it’s all the way off
I’m shooting .25g bbs
I’ve experimented with .28g bbs, it helps a little but not enough really to put the extra money into it.
I was thinking of getting another tight bore barrel but longer and also get a silencer to counsel it.
I don’t now though maybe I’ll let Andrew shoot it one the 11th and see what he thinks
But till then any help???
is a longer barrel really the only way to increase accuracy?

Re: accuracy help?
Bad accuracy at far ranges is kinda to be expected.
You got to think about all of the variables involved.
-Spin of the bb
-Speed and weight of said bb
-Wind resistance
-Gravity
-Humidity
-the "Coriolis Effect"
Point is that all of our guns at long range suffer in accuracy, but what do I know I just go to shoot people.

Re: accuracy help?
tightbore coupled with a good hopup system. As long as you're using good BB's I would think about a 6.02mm bore, deepfire makes a good barrel in that bore. Add an H nub to mix to regulate contact on the BB will give you a more consistant backspin.

Hard to see but there's a white one there, that's the one to use. It'll come with both.

Re: accuracy help?
ill have to let you look at my stuff again Andrew. i bought a mad bull bucking and the H nub things installed it myself and now, even with the hop up turned all the way off its being random for me, sometimes it doesn't like to work or works way too well even when shoot .25g bbs.
i don't know maybe its just because its a STAR brand....
i guess im not too worried about the accuracy anymore but the inconsistency in my hop up

Re: accuracy help?
I tried the H bucking once upon a time and it didn't work out too well for me...

Re: accuracy help?
The madbull bucking is a definite turd, and may even be part of your problems. I haven't heard anything but nasty about that particular part.

Re: accuracy help?
Hey Andrew. What do you think about extending the barrel? Would that help a little? Would you recomend me doing that?

Re: accuracy help?
Longer barrel is always going to be a little more accurate. Keep in mind though that a longer barrel is going to also mean changing from the ported cylinder in an M4 to an unported one to cope with the increase in volume inside that longer barrel.
