It appears you are interested in building an accurate impression of an American soldier in southeast Asia circa 1964-1973. I would recommend doing some research of your own. Google.com is a wonderful resource for just such an endeavor. You can search for examples of uniforms, loadouts, weapons used, etc etc etc. Clicking on the image search option will yield a plethora of photos of the same. You can even type questions into google and find results. Often if you have thought of a question to ask, chances are it has in fact been asked AND answered before.
try searching "vietnam reenactor gear" for starters and see where that leads you. I promise you amazing results if you will but use this readily available search engine. Good luck with your searches.
