Castle of Chaos 12/18/10

I have decided to attend the BOE event at the Castle of Chaos on the 18th. I was interested just because it was an indoor venue but was initially disinclined to attend because of the BOE rep. Then I got to thinking about it and realized that I had only heard things second hand and had never gamed with any of the players. Since that is personally unacceptable I have decided to attend. After all, what better way to gauge the temper of a team than to attend on event sponsored by them. I also have no problems with any of the 1/9 players who have gamed with BOE at past events.
The real kicker for me was a post by Ajax on airsoftica that was completely in line with the way I think. Time to find out if what I have heard are all rumors or isolated incidents.
I have room for 1 in the car if anyone wants to travel with me.

I got myself all hyped up about possibly attending until I checked the calendar and we have scheduled that weekend for something else. I wonder how much of the haunted gear will still be up or if it has been completely packed away. Good luck at the event.

Note, gas users, that site owners do not want stinky propane floating around in the staging areas at this venue. Actual Green gas or alternative must be used.

Never done an indoor event before -- this could be fun, especially how the game at the National Guard MOUT got cancelled due to the fire. I'll look into this.

Yeah, but I'd hate to find out that late that I'm running too hot to use the gun in the game. It's kind of hard to crack open a gearbox and switch out a spring when you're actually at the event.

unless you get split gear box! ICS WOOT! then again, you run into other problems.

ics is nice, but i prefer my ares!
