26ft rule
im curious if the number of feet that you are allowed to shoot some1 with your main weapon is reduced if playing in a building or similar places.

Re: 26ft rule
fps for 0 minimum engagement distance is less than 300 fps.
So yes you would need a different gun or downgrade your normal gun in the event that you wanted to play indoors with us.
Rules on fps vary from team to team.

When we have a venue. Our last one was condemned for probably the 10th time and we were not allowed to play there anymore.

I spent months playing with nothing but a tri-shot shotgun and a CM030 that shoots about 200 fps. I still got plenty of kills. FPS is like a fast car. It's at most 1/2 the equation. At least as important is the skill of the driver. Ask anyone if they would ever discount James running with his pistol only.

Re: 26ft rule
Question. Is the 600 fps. limit on snipers concrete? No shooting a 700 fps. gun from 300 ft. away? I'm looking into a range finder because I want to be safe with my shots so I'm curious about the limits.

Re: 26ft rule
The FPS cap is the actual cap. Beyond that and the risk on injury becomes unacceptable.

Re: 26ft rule
To help explain the cap I can't see a situation where you would ever need to be above 600 fps. If you did have a 700 fps gun and were hypothetically allowed to shoot people at 300 feet (minimum, so you are taking most of your shots at 400-500 ft) you would have very few opportunities. Most of the fields we play on don't provide that many long distance shots. When you start getting into those ranges you are really just hoping on luck even with a higher fps. The wind will float your bbs wherever it wants over that distance.

Re: 26ft rule
baby swiss is fresh, underaged cheese right? i refuse to believe that anything in an abandoned cheese factory smelled like "fresh" cheese. lol more like bleu cheese. and i love me some nice stinky bleu cheese. stinkier the cheese the better. makes me want to move to wisconsin cuz they have the only limburger factory in the country!
