a CVA Game!! Monday Feb 15th

So, just curious, when are we having our next CVA game up here in cache valley or in Mantua? It would be way cool and fun to do some sort of WWII reenactment, like D-Day or something.

I vote on having a game next Saturday. Yeah it is Valentines Day weekend, but it is also a long weekend. So either Saturday or Monday is my vote for the next game. It is supposed to snow/rain on Monday though.

i say we go on monday, seeing as that there is a NUAC indoor game posted on airsoftica for saturday that i will most likely attend with TheNoob++.

So Monday Morning, Dry Canyon. Meet at Lee's around 9:15 to be on the field and shooting at 9:30. Depending on the condition of the road we can head all the way up to the field by the gate.

Isn't Monday going to be the crappy weather?

The forecast is now putting the bad weather on Friday. I think we will have less conflicts since the 14th is Valentines day.

I'll send out an email. Now is usually the time I start bugging our old participants to get them revved up for the next warm season of airsoft. If you don't get one today and want to be on the email list (Mostly used for those who are less frequent of visitors to the forum) then pm me that you want to be on the email list.

Game type. I think we should have an artillery game. Basically it will be attack and defend, but with the added bonus of a fixed gun. The fixed gun will be in the form of snow ball's. I know someone out there has one of those fancy snow ball flickers. What will happen is they will be permitted a snowball every 30 seconds. Wherever the snowball lands will be a blast zone with a 5 foot radius. If you are within 5 feet of where it lands, you are hit.

Restrictions: The snow balls must be lobbed and clear a height of 10 feet to prevent people just throwing them directly at people. The snow balls must hit at least 30 feet away from the defense position.

I'm thinking that the group defending will have a slight disadvantage of 2-3 people with no respawns. The attacking team will have a 30 second respawn point with unlimited respawns. They have to take the base within a time limit of something like 10 minutes.

How's it sound? I figure we can do this in the snow, and when it is warmer upgrade to biodegradable water balloons. (I'll copy this to the scenario section later)
