Photo Contest

Some of you may have noticed that we have been without a banner for a little while. Once I became aware of this problem I did a quick crop from one of our file photos and you can see the results above. After completing this I figured it was time to get rid of my unilateral control of how our forum looks. Currently being displayed is an infrequent attendee Dusty. Before that we had the great Panzerfaust displayed for a long, long time. If you would like to change the picture from Dusty here is what you need to do.

Photo contest rules
You have two weeks to submit up to 2 photos for the forum. After two weeks we will offer a vote and the winner's photo will be placed atop our forum. Please make sure to to crop your image so that it fits similarly to the one above (1024px × 274px). If it takes up the whole screen it will not be considered. DO NOT POST ANY CRUDE, OFFENSIVE, OR OTHERWISE INAPPROPRIATE IMAGES! Not only will it be pulled off, but you will be kicked off the forum. Good luck and have fun with it. As the summer approaches this may become a bi-weekly event.

So as of right now I am not seeing any entries. I'll extend the deadline to February 15th. If I don't get any entries I guess we'll keep the current one.

Ok, here are my two entries. The first I couldn't find a good way to crop it because the full picture was much better looking. As for the second one, I just wanted someone up there besides Andrew . . . like me shooting Scott.

As soon as some more people put up photos I will turn this into a poll.

Photos must be submitted by Wednesday of next week (in case anyone takes some at the game). Afterward I will put up the poll and you will have 1 week to decide on your favorite.

Any reason we can't set up a fade in/fade out rotation and put bunches of them up? You see it on a lot of sales sites with products fading out to a different product.

WE can't do that on the forum but I was going to do that on the main website.
