Phoenix Initiative
Someone asked to know more about the teams that we have at CVA and figured I would put forth my opinion of just what Phoenix Initiative is.
Style of Play
For most operations PI tends to break into smaller units of about 3 members. Most of the time these units are made up of players who have worked together in the past and communicate well together. Each of these units is given a general focus for the game at hand and in for the most part they accomplish it. Without revealing too much of our style to the tactically deprived B37, it can be said that much of our style is based upon the use of these units to accomplish our goals.
Not our Cup O' Tea
It isn't generally found to be that PI members hide much or do what many would call camp. We sneak. The difference being that there is some sort of movement happening almost all the time unless there is an incoming contact. With the guidance of Ninja Scott, our second in command, we have learned many good ways of moving undetected to locations where swift accurate kills can be performed. There are some of us less sneaky than others and they serve their purpose in a different fashion.
Also, members of PI are skilled marksmen. Spray and Pray is for the gay. If there isn't a clear shot, we don't take it. Too many civilians have been lost to such careless fire.
Thinking of Joining?
I wouldn't speak out of my place as I am just a humble crasher of the enemy camp and hold no rank in our team. Truly we are focused on smaller squads and good communication. If you aren't willing to work as a team when attacking the ever encamped B37, then you'll not be welcome with us long. We're not just about getting the most kills; and using a teammate as bate so you can get a kill instead of protecting them is right out. So consider those points if you want to be a part of PI, oh and lets not forget who the most victorious team in CVA is.
