yeah I am talking about the mauser lol not the ak the mauser c96 is a german carbine the ak was made in 1974 I love the mp44 but it goes 420 with .2g BBs so I could not use it so... and the agm mp40 is 290fps witch is to low and then I found ak74 me likey

MP44 + M120 spring + $10 for me to downgrade it for you = happy.
this formula also works the opposite way:
MP40 + M120 spring + metal 6mm bushings + $10 for me to upgrade it for you = happy.
result is the same.
The AK74 is very nice though. I'm still impressed by mine every time I use it.

That depends what spring you buy. Springs generally cost $11-18 depending where you get them.
Below is a list of manufacturers, the spring type and the associated velocity with with those springs.
It's an approximation, factors such as barrel length, piston/cylinder assembly, air seal will mess with the speeds to some degree.

I don't know ... My primary gun lost fps when I upgraded it....

holy gosh. That depends on the gun.
The bolt action sniper rifles use different springs than AEG's. I DO know a guy who upgraded a springer MP5 to 400fps
