-P90-

I'm thinking the P90 frame would be great for CQB. Anyone have any input on who makes a good one? I was checking CA and couldn't see any at all.

CA is building a sportsline model, it'll be an alternative to the TM P90 who currently gives you a choice between the integral reddot model and the triple rail model. The TM models are solid performers.

TM p90

Post by Paladin on Mon Aug 04, 2008 9:09 pm

From the research I have done, as I also want to get one, TM is the only current manufacture that I have found that makes the P90, and the integrated red dot site is difficult to find, as it was the beginning model and the one with 3 rails built in is the new standard model. The big reason I want to get a P90 is the fact that it is a great CQB frame as it is short but has about the same barrel length of an M4.

If I remember correctly the P90 has some interesting features. The clip for one is completely different from any other. Unlike most that you can just wind while you sitting and taking cover this one clips down and covers up the winding mechanism. It still feeds well as they are coming in from the top it doesn't take as much winding before hand. Though carrying around extra clips is a little less convenient. All of that aside, you can spin those suckers on your thumb and impress all the ladies, which is a feature that more guns could use.

sounds like an Lpeg turd. You should be happy it broke, because now you can get an M4.

Remember, a good CQB frame doesn't mean you can automatically use it for CQB. Check out the engagement rules for minimum ranges. These hold true for all environments and the majority of the teams in Utah have something similar.

Yeah and I read the instructions and it said to let the battery charge for twelve hours the first time. The other times you charge it to 3-4 hours and no longer....... This is my first middle grade gun! Very Happy

Get a smart charger. Then you really don't have to worry about all of that....
