Echo 1 MP5

Post by fuzzybeard on Thu Jan 08, 2009 8:36 pm

So I am looking at buying the new Echo 1 master series full auto mp5. I don't remember but I think that I heard Reid talking about this gun or something like it. Anyways, what can people tell me about Echo 1. The only thing that I know is that they are a new company based here in the US. Does anyone have one? Are they reliable? It seems almost to good to be true. Any other suggestions on other mp5's.

Most of the Echo 1 lineup consists of CYMA, A&K, and JG replicas that are inspected for quality, function and then rebranded and sold as Echo 1. You can be sure you're going to get a working gun from them but quality will on par with those companies except where they've specifically upgraded parts.

Really the only other MP5 I would suggest would be the Classic Army B&T MP5 series.
I'd suggest swapping out the piston/pistonhead on receipt though as the yellow CA ones are a little too short and often break as a result of a bad angle of engagement with the sector gear.

What andrew said about quality. They were listing a higher base FPS for some of their guns based on an upgraded spring. All other parts not specifically mentioned were JG level parts.

I'm not a fan... My old roommates Echo 1 sucked. It may have just been the battery though.
